Needs for care can be as diverse as is human individuality itself, and at Park House a full respect for each resident's individuality is always paramount.

Through effective liaison with GPs and NHS specialists, and individual and updated care planning, our nursing and care staff focus on supporting our elderly care residents into optimum achievable health. Thereby they are helped to achieve the most complete possible personal fulfilment, from being enabled and encouraged to pursue their own choices of lifestyle. Individual privacy is respected, whilst frequent "small-group" activities, all as varied as the backgrounds and interests of residents themselves, are on-going throughout the week, Three members of staff specialise in, and are employed solely to, establish and achieve this rolling programme of activities. We positively encourage, and discreetly assist, continuity of association, and friends and family are naturally always welcome.

Those of our residents with severe memory loss and/or awareness impairment benefit from their own separate community within Park House, and for them we focus particularly on ensuring their safety, whilst promoting their self-esteem and fulfilment through activities based on personal backgrounds, capabilities and interests.

Whether young or old, a constant pleasure of life for us all is surely food. Park House fully recognises both the nutritional and pleasurable aspects of meals. Culinary "specials" are wrapped around more familiar staple recipes in our à-la-carte menu arrangements, wherein great emphasis is given to the use of fresh fish, fresh meat, and fresh fruit and vegetables.

A programme of entertainments, in-house provision of alternative therapies from our own trained staff, an informative monthly residents' newsletter and, in general, a practical and comprehensive desire expressed through all staff to assist each resident in optimising their enjoyment of each new day, surely all together exemplify that our service is highly likely to be the complete answer to your needs, and almost certainly worthy of your closest consideration.

The majority of our residents contract independently for our service on a private basis. We are also pleased to provide “continuing care” to the NHS. In selected circumstances, we are content also to takes persons on local authority funding.
